When Can We Expect To See Mario Land Universal Florida Opening?

As we can see from the photos courtesy of @biroeConstruction, development of Super Nintendo World is progressing nicely. We can even see that one of the rides is already up and running showing how far along in the development pipeline (pardon the pun) we are. The ride that we can see that's already developed is the Yoshi adventure ride. This ride is a family coaster that is outside and will take guests on a tour of Nintendo World in a relaxed environment. The main coaster Mario Karts Bowser Challenge is an indoor ride that will take guests on a race against bowser, in the race users will be able to pick up powers up and interact directly with the environment while they are riding the attraction. From the images we can see what looks like props, that are going to be featured inside the ride which makes us believe that ride is almost complete and they are just adding the final touches to the attraction now. We can see interactive elements like pow blocks and question blocks have been added again indicating that the land is almost complete as they are adding in finishing touches to the land, with the main elements already there. We can see that they have added in the Mario like grass to the land showing how far along with progress with only a few outstanding grey spots.

Nintendo World in Universal Studios Orlando will feature an exclusive Donkey Kong ride which will take guests on an adventure around a Donkey Kong inspired land from the games. The ride will be called Donkey Kong's Mine Cart Madness and will be a rollercoaster that will take you through the Donkey Kong jungle, the ride will feature a gap which guests will jump over in a revolutionary experience. The ride will be known as Donkey Kong Country and it will be a copy of the land that was announced back in December 2023 for Universal Studios Japan

The progress of development of the ride, seems to be going nicely, its a bit further behind than the Mario inspired ride with the rollercoaster not yet implemented, but we can see its getting there with the installation of the lands main landmark which is a massive pillar with a monkey head on it. The track for the ride has also been added, but we can not yet see how the jump is going to work, so it will be interesting to see once they get the ride cart onsite and in testing. On the 2nd of May 2024 on Universal Orlando Resorts Official Youtube Channel Titled Introducing SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™ at Universal Epic Universe the name of the ride was revealed and confirmed to be Donkey Kong's Mine Cart Madness. In the video Universal Studios outlined its use of groundbreaking technology to simulate the sensation of jumping the track at one point in the ride. Unlike many modern attractions that rely heavily on screens and virtual reality, Mine-Cart Madness prides itself on being a purely physical ride with no screen-based elements

We expect to see the land opening early 2025 if development keeps going as planned as it seems like they are right on schedule. We know that Universal Studios Orlando said they plan to open the park in 2025, however they have not given a time period but based on the fact development is almost complete and that Universal Studios have hotels inspired by the land opening in January and February 2025 its likely that Universal Studios want to release the park at the same time, definitely before Summer 2025. So at Universal News Now we would expect to see the park opening in some time period between January 2025 and March 2025.
